1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and receives back on later visits. This Cookie Policy explains the cookies used on the website and customer portal of IViel, operated by [COMPANY NAME] LLC. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

All of them are first-party cookies set by our own website. We do not use local storage or similar technologies to identify or track you.

3. No analytics or advertising cookies

We do not use analytics, advertising, retargeting or social media cookies, tracking pixels or fingerprinting, and we do not let third parties set such cookies on our website.

4. Why there is no cookie banner

Privacy laws such as the EU ePrivacy Directive and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations require consent for cookies, except for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you ask for, such as staying signed in, and preferences that you set yourself. The cookies we use fall within those exceptions, so we do not show a consent banner. If we ever add cookies that need your consent, we will ask for it before setting them and update this policy first.

5. Cookies set by others

  • Checkout and billing. When you go to the checkout or the customer portal of Polar, our merchant of record, you are on its website and its privacy and cookie practices apply.
  • Security. If our website is delivered through Cloudflare’s network, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm) to tell people from automated traffic. See Cloudflare’s Cookie Policy.
  • Managed Websites. The websites we host for our customers are operated by those customers, who decide which cookies their sites use and are responsible for any consent they require.

6. How to control cookies

You can view and delete cookies, and block them for all or specific websites, in your browser settings. If you block or delete the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in to your Account. Deleting the sidebar cookie only resets the layout of the portal, and deleting the language cookie only returns the website to the language your browser prefers.
