They process personal data on our behalf, including, for some of them, personal data contained in the Customer Content of Managed Websites. Each is bound by a written agreement that restricts its use of the data to providing its service to us and requires appropriate security. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and international transfers in its international transfers section.

3. Our merchant of record (not a subprocessor)
Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”) is not a subprocessor: it does not process personal data on our behalf. It sells our Licenses and Subscriptions to you as our reseller and merchant of record, and it processes the payment data it collects as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
- Role: Merchant of record and reseller: checkout, payment processing, sales tax and VAT, receipts and invoices, refunds and the customer billing portal.
- Personal data: Name, email address, billing address, payment details, and Order and Subscription details.

4. Changes to this list
We update this page before a new subprocessor starts processing personal data. If you have a data processing agreement with us, or ask to be notified by writing to privacy@[DOMAIN] with the subject “Subprocessor updates”, we will notify you at least [30] days before a new subprocessor processes Customer Content. You may object on reasonable data protection grounds; if we cannot address your objection, you may cancel the affected Subscription and receive a prorated refund of the prepaid fees for the remaining time.
